We begin Day 1 …
With an exclusive private tour of the stunning OXLEY HILL FARM FLOWERS. During this 1 hr tour, owner & farmer Candice will share her knowledge & passion for growing as we wander among the abundance of blooms, finishing the tour in the flower shed where you’ll have the opportunity to purchase your flowers for our 2 days of designing.
Return to The Ivy Greenhouse for herbal tea and treats while we condition our flowers.
Theory session understanding Design Fundamentals incl Colour Theory
Wholesome Lunch in the garden
Mastering bouquets - learn hand held spiralling, cross-stem techniques & designing within a vase.
We continue Day 2 …
Arrive and settle in with tea and treats - learn a Table Centre piece [using a kenzan] - that we’ll incorporate into our lunch tablescape
Large statement arrangement - how to design using foam free / sustainable mechanics - vessel supplied
Wholesome lunch in the garden
Wearable designs - learn modern wiring and glueing techniques to Create Boutonnieres / Floral Cuff / Head piece - sundries supplied
Photography session - practical tips how to capture beautiful imagery of your designs using your phone.
