About Nadine

Welcome, I’m Nadine.

Nadine Brown

After 30-plus years in this beautiful industry, I am more passionate than ever about redefining floristry for tomorrow.

As a proud Sustainable Floristry Advocate, earth-conscious design & sustainable practices weave through all that I do.

Sustainable thinking supports a healthy future - for people, businesses and our natural environment. For a nature-loving industry that relies on a healthy planet, don't you agree we should be leading the way?

From within my Ivy entangled Greenhouse nestled on the Dharawal land [NSW southern highlands] that my family & I deeply love, I connect with my students, members and mentees either via my online courses or in person events. Supporting them along their entrepreneurial floral pathway to a successful, thriving and aligned floral business.

My mission/How I can help

From beginning, through formal education to opening my retail florist shop at just 23, selling ‘Wildflower’ 10 years later to specialise in my large wedding & event calendar [& being a mum of two babes], to then return to the classroom as an educator this time, to ignite my 17yr teaching career & now sharing it all with you, the culmination of it all: The Ivy Institute.

I completely understand the many issues & business models we can explore as florists. The positive impact we have on the world by connecting people to nature & the importance of being able to share our artistry in a way that feels authentic & heartfelt, but also importantly profitable & sustainable for you…. the nature lover, designer & business owner.
