Meet Ilona
Ilona Glastonbury is a renowned ceramist turned Instagram expert and small business coach who brings her savvy marketing skills and passion for creativity together to help folk navigate Instagram in an authentic and meaningful way.
Her mission is to help the quieter creatives among us get comfortable with their marketing endeavours, and have their work seen by the right people.
Nothing brings her more joy than helping creatives find an authentic, bespoke Instagram strategy that increases their reach, growth and ultimately, sales.
Starting out in the world of visual arts at university, Ilona's artistic journey allowed her to develop a distinctive style that celebrated the beauty of the natural world. Transitioning into ceramics and then the digital realm, she became adept at Instagram, using the platform to showcase her craft and connect with a global audience. Her work is found in collections across the globe.
Ilona says:
“I have a particular interest in the psychology behind how Instagram operates. I like to work out the intention behind the algorithm and its changes and then how to game the system so that even small, quiet accounts can take advantage of the in-built opportunities for organic reach and growth.”
In the last year Ilona has fully transitioned from pottery making into helping fellow Quiet Creatives at her new space The Quiet Creatives Academy, where her expertise in Instagram marketing has become a guiding light for small, female-led creative businesses.
Through her courses and personalised coaching, she empowers the more introverted among us to present their work to the world in an authentic and value-aligned way.
