Meet Ilona
Ilona Glastonbury is an experienced ceramist turned Instagram expert and small business coach who brings her savvy marketing skills and passion for creativity together to help folk navigate Instagram in an authentic and meaningful way.
Her mission is to help the quieter creatives among us get comfortable with their marketing endeavors, and to find a way to have their work seen. Nothing brings her more joy than helping them find an authentic, bespoke Instagram strategy that increases their reach, growth and ultimately, sales.
Starting out in the world of visual arts post university, Ilona's artistic journey allowed her to develop a distinctive style that celebrated the beauty of the natural world. Transitioning into ceramics and then the digital realm, she became adept at Instagram, using the platform to showcase her craft and connect with a global audience. Her works have been purchased by collectors across the globe including in America, Germany, New Zealand and France.
Ilona says “I’ve been on Instagram for a long time now and have a particular interest in the psychology behind how it operates. I like to work out the intention behind the algorithm changes and then how to game the system so that even small, quiet accounts like my own can take advantage of the in-built opportunities for organic reach and growth.”
In the last few years as she has moved more from pottery into helping fellow Quiet Creatives, Ilona's expertise in Instagram marketing has become a guiding light for small, female-led creative businesses.
Through her courses and personalised coaching, she empowers the more introverted among us to present their work to the world in an authentic and value-aligned way.
